Wee Toon: Kiat, where are we heading?
Wee Toon; I don't know. Let's just follow other teams. I am sure one of them knows the way.
Bee Zhu: Lay Kon, wait for me
Lay Kon: Hurry up, I know the way. We must get there first to get a good departure time!
Bee Zhu: Do you want to take a taxi?
Lay Kon: The traffic here is terrible. Plus, the taxi has to make a huge detour to get there. We'll be wasting a lot of time and money.
Stephanie: Dennis, do you know how to go to the library?
Dennis: Yes, I have a map...
Kim: Farida, is it very far away? Can we take a cab?
Farida: I am not sure. I heard the teachers saying about the bad traffic and how the taxis need to make a detour to get there.
Kim: I think we should. Wheels are faster than muscles after all...
Farida: Okay then.
(*Farida and Kim quickly spots a taxi, hail it and hop into it)

(The rest of the teams are running to the National Library, slightly over a mile away...)

Vijay: Siti, I'll help you with the bag. Outrun the others!
*Siti passes her bag to Vijay and run with all her might

*Kadir and Anwar pull off the ticket for the 12:50PM slot and dash out of the library
*Meanwhile, Farida and Kim arrived.
Kim (to Farida): Hey, those are the coaches. They are out already!
Farida (to Kadir): Is it hard to find?
Kadir: No, it's on a clipboard. Try searching near the children's section!

*At the travel agency:
Travel agent: Hi! Welcome.
Anwar: Hi, I've got this. We would like to book our tickets.
Travel agent: There you go! You are on the 12:50PM flight and you will arrive at your destination at 5:15AM. And here's your next clue.
Kadir: Thank you. (Looks at the tickets) Oh wow, we are going to Kuwait!
Anwar: The clue. What does it say?
Kadir (rips off the envelope): You are now heading towards Kuwait City, Kuwait. Once there, find a marked car outside the airport and drive yourself to the Burgan Oil Fields.
Phil: Teams are travelling more than 3000 miles to Kuwait City, Kuwait. Teams may only travel on one of the three flights offered.
The first flight departs at 12:50PM, the second at 1:45PM, while the last is at 3:30PM.
The first flight, which will only carry 4 teams, will have a stopover at Kuala Lumpur and at Dubai, and arrvies at 5:15AM the next day.
The second flight, which has seats for only 3 teams, has only one stop over at Dubai and arrvies at Kuwait City at 2:15AM the next day.
The last flight, which has enough seats for 4 teams only, also has a stopover at Dubai, and arrives at 4:00AM the next day.
When they land, they must drive themsleves approximately 40 miles to the Burgan Oil Field, and search for one of the badly damaged gathering station, one of the 700 wells destroyed by the Iraqi troops. It is there that teams will find their next clue.
*Back at the library:
Bee Zhu: I've found a flight for 12:50PM.
Lay Kon: Okay let's take that (Lay KOn pulls off the ticket for 12:50PM)
Wee Kiat: Toon, 12:50!
Toon: Good, grab that!
Kim: Farida, here it is. (Kim grabs a ticket for 12:50PM)
Dennis: Farida, you guys found it?
Farida: Yah, but there isn't any more tickets for the 12:50 flight.
Dennis (to Stephanie): Let's just go back and grab that 3:30 one.
Stephanie: Okay then...
(Dennis and Stephanie grabs a ticket for 3:30 flight)
Maria (shouts loudly): Cecilia, I've found it! 1:45!
Cecilia: You are not suppose to shout in a library!
Maria: Oops, sorry!
Stephanie: Damn, they've got 1:45...
Dennis: But we can't do anything about it. We can't exchange our tickets...

Hui Min: Boss, 3:30PM! I think we better go back and take the 1:45 one.
Peter: Don't order me around! i am the boss. I shall have the last say.
Hui Min: Ok, so what now?
Peter: We'll take the 1:45 PM slot.

Rosie (spotted Peter and Hui Min): Cannot lah! They are coming! And it's the last one!

(Peter and Hui Min run back and grab the 3:30 ticket)
Kelvin and Darren and Jupiter and Venus soon grabbed the last tickets for the 3:30 PM flight.

Chu Kang; Middle East lah!
Rosie: HUH?!?! Middle East? got a lot of bombings leh. All the terrorists there. Very dangerous leh. What if I become a hostage?

Jupiter: Great, we should now stay focus and find the oil field.

Vijay (runs and takes out an envelope from the clue box): Search the oil field for number tags.
Phil: Teams must now search the around the marked zone of the oil field for one of the twenty number tags available. The number that the teams had taken will determine their order of departure.
Starting from 1 to 20, the team that has the number "1", will depart first at 7.00AM, and teams with subsequent numbers with depart 10 minutes after the team holding the previous number. That is, team number "2" departs at 7:10AM, team number "3" departs at 7:20AM, team number "4" departs at 7:30AM, and so on. And the last possible departure, that is, team number "20", will depart at 10:10AM. Once teams have taken their number tags, they can wait in the tents nearby until their time of departure.
Siti: Okay, let's find for number 1.
Vijay: I see a "7"
Siti: No. We have a good lead. I want to capitalise on that. Find me a "1".

Maria (reads from the clue): Search for number tags...

Phil: Teams must now travel nearly 2 miles across the city to Liberation Tower. Originally called the Kuwait's Telecommunications Tower, it was renamed to its present name in 1993 to symbolise Kuwait's libreation from the occupation by the Iraqis troops. Teams must then make their way up the 372 metres structure to the observation platform to find their next clue.

Phil: Teams must now search the around the marked zone of the oil field for one of the twenty number tags available. The number that the teams had taken will determine their order of departure.
Starting from 1 to 20, the team that has the number "1", will depart first at 7.00AM, and teams with subsequent numbers with depart 10 minutes after the team holding the previous number. That is, team number "2" departs at 7:10AM, team number "3" departs at 7:20AM, team number "4" departs at 7:30AM, and so on. And the last possible departure, that is, team number "20", will depart at 10:10AM. Once teams have taken their number tags, they can wait in the tents nearby until their time of departure.
Siti: Okay, let's find for number 1.

Phil: Teams must now drive themselves back to Kuwait City and find the Tareq Rajab Museum. Once there, they must search the entire museum for a gold washed silver filigree with a baroque pearl and turquoise, called Khamsa, or the Hand of Fatimah. It is here that teams will find the next clue.

Peter: the Liberation Tower.
Phil: Teams must now travel nearly 2 miles across the city to Liberation Tower. Originally called the Kuwait's Telecommunications Tower, it was renamed to its present name in 1993 to symbolise Kuwait's libreation from the occupation by the Iraqis troops. Teams must then make their way up the 372 metres structure to the observation platform to find their next clue.
