Cecilia: Okay, let's hurry. We have to get to the yield before anyone does.
Kelvin: Darren, hurry!
(All seven teams leave the museum. Meanwhile, Jupiter and Venus arrive)
Jupiter: Hey guys, how was it?
Peter (to Hui Min): Don't tell him anything.
Maria: Good luck!
Vijay: It isn't too hard to spot.
(Jupiter and Venus quickly spot the clue and head off to Liberation Tower)
(Dennis and Stephanie, Lay Kon and Bee Zhu and Wee Kiat and Wee Toon arrive almost at the same time.)
Wee Kiat: Oh dear, we better hurry up! We need to get to the Yield as quickly as possible!
Lay Kon: Bee ZHu, hurry!
Bee Zhu: Do you want to use the Yield?
Lay Kon: Not this time, I think we should save it for future use.

(Kadir and Anwar: Currently in 1st place)
Kadir: Yield!
Phil: This is the first of 7 available Yields in The Amazing Race. At this particular point, a team may force another team to "yield", that is, to stop racing for a pre-determined amount of time. Any team that is "yielded" must turn this hour glass upside down and wait for all the sand in the hour glass to run out before continuing the race. Each team can only exercise their "Yield" power once, so they must decide when its most advantageous to use their "Yield".
Anwar: We choose not to yield anybody.
Kadir: Detour. Food or Fuel.
Phil: A "Detour" is a choice between two tasks, each with its own pros and cons. In this "Detour", teams must choose between two tasks unique to the Kuwaiti culture. their choice: Food, or Fuel.
In Food: Teams must make their way to the nearby Sharq Souk Mall, one of the largest shopping malls in Kuwait. Once there, they must find Long John Silver's and order a serving of "brain sandwich" for each team member. The brain sandwich is a local delicacy made up of cow's brain stuffed inside a sandwich. Once the teams have finished the entire sandwich, the staff will hand them their next clue.
It may be gross task, but tams who can conquer their fears could finish quickly.
In Fuel: Teams travel more than 30 miles to the The Mina Abdulla Oil Refinery. Once there, they must fill up 20 barrels with oil. Next, they must travel back to the city with the barrels and deliver the filled barrels to two petrol stations, 10 to each station. Once they have completed their task, their accompanying manager will hand them their next clue.
There's nothing scary about filling up and delivering oil barrels. But performing this task could take a long time.
Kadir: We'll eat.
Anwar: Okay, let's go!
(*The rest of the teams arrive shortly.. All of them chose not to yield)
(Peter and Hui Min: Currently in 2nd place)
Peter: Detour...
Hui Min: Boss, we'll do "Fuel"!

Dennis: Then we'll do the oil. We have to be quick. We need to fight for time now..

Phil: Teams must now proceed to the camps located right next to the Sheikh Subah Al-Ahmed Nature Reserve. Called the most beautiful part of Kuwaiti desert, beside magnificent sand dunes and with the gorgeous view on the sunset and the Reserve, this is the pit stop for this leg of the race. The last team to check in may be eliminated.
Maria: Hurrry!
Anwar: Ok, ok! Let's go!
(Meanwhile, Wee Kiat and Wee Toon just arrive at Long John Silver's)
